Engagement in the creative process enables students to develop their ability to:

• Find creative solutions to problems 

• Develop their ideas in response to reflective thought

• Experiment freely with a sense of open inquiry

• Select and exploit the qualities of materials

• Adapt in response to external influences

• Develop their own research strategies

• Dream and visualise without limitations

• Be inspired and inspire others

With these and other skills in mind, the creative process drives all work in the Art Department at IST.  The work on show here is by students that have completed either the GCSE or IB Visual Arts course and, as such, have become independent artists in their own right.  They have independently driven their own work, through an engagement in the creative process, and would like to share this with you.  We hope you enjoy it.
